Driving from Woodley Park

From the Woodley Park-Zoo area, the drive is roughly 12 minutes depending on Connecticut Avenue traffic and Dupont Circle conditions. A few reliable options:

• Via Connecticut Avenue: Head south across the Taft Bridge, through the Dupont Circle tunnel, then turn left on K Street and right on 17th down to I Street.
• Via Rock Creek Parkway: Drop down Calvert Street into Rock Creek Parkway south, exit at Virginia Avenue, then take 18th Street up to I Street. Often faster at rush hour.
• Via Massachusetts Avenue: Cut over to Massachusetts Avenue, head south through Dupont, then turn onto 18th Street to I Street. A clean alternate when Connecticut backs up.
