Does dermaplaning make hair grow back thicker or darker? +
No. This is one of the most common misconceptions about dermaplaning. Vellus hair (peach fuzz) has no pigment follicle and no capacity to change its growth pattern in response to shaving or blade removal. When it grows back, it comes back exactly as it was: fine, soft, and light. Dermaplaning does not affect hair color, texture, or growth rate.
Is this facial safe for sensitive skin? +
Yes. The lymphatic drainage facial is well-tolerated by most skin types, including sensitive skin. Dermaplaning is a mechanical exfoliation with no chemical agents, and lymphatic massage uses only gentle pressure. The hydrating masks are formulated to calm and restore. If you have reactive or rosacea-prone skin, let us know before your session and we will adjust accordingly. This treatment is not recommended for active cystic acne or open skin lesions.
How long do results last? +
